We learn each resident's usual range, and show care staff whom to check first today

Care facilities already measure vital signs every day. They upload the morning readings in about 5 minutes, and WellCare AI prepares the day's overview board. The core service starts without buying any device.

WellCare AI is a non-medical health management service. It provides reference data for health management and does not replace medical diagnosis or treatment.

Four problems care facilities face every day

In Korea, 11,125,000 people are aged 65 or older, 21.6% of the population (2026)1. At the end of 2025, 1,235,045 people were certified for long-term care, up 6.0% in one year2. More people need care, while the number of care workers is limited.

  • Changes are hard to see

With one or two handwritten records a day, it is hard to tell what has changed since yesterday.

  • No personal baseline

Each person's usual range is different, yet everyone is compared with the same general range.

  • Responses come late

Staff often act only after a problem has become obvious.

  • Paperwork takes time from care

Every hour spent on logs and handover notes is an hour away from residents.

A morning overview in about 5 minutes

Measure, analyze, act. Facilities keep measuring as they do today. The upload is the one new step.

  1. Morning measurement

Staff measure each resident's vital signs as usual.

    No change
  2. Upload

Staff upload an Excel file or use a web form.

    About 5 minutes
  3. Automatic analysis

Each reading is compared with that person's usual range, and the trend is reviewed.

    Immediate
  4. Today's board

The board lists residents whose readings differ from their usual range, so staff know whom to check first.

The same number can mean different things

We look at whether a reading falls outside that person's usual range, not outside an adult average.

A uniform threshold compared with each person's usual rangeA systolic reading of 165 means different things for a resident whose usual range is 110 to 140 and one whose usual range is 150 to 170. For the first it is a change from usual; for the second it is within the usual range.90110130150170190Systolic blood pressure (mmHg)Uniform thresholdSame line for everyoneThreshold 140Resident AUsual 110–140Today 165, outside usualResident BUsual 150–170Today 165, within usual
Illustrative example. A systolic reading of 165 is a change worth checking for a resident whose usual range is 110–140. For a resident whose usual range is 150–170, the same 165 is within the usual range.

We built the system we needed on the floor

Our founding members ran a day and night care center in Seoul used by about 80 older adults. Vital signs were recorded every day, but the records only piled up. With paper logs and night rounds, it was hard to see what had changed since yesterday.

So we built a system for our own use. After we handed over the center in 2025, the new management kept using it under a paid contract.

Would the system still be used after the people who built it had left? That was the question we asked ourselves.
