Privacy policy
This site has no sign-up, log-in or payment. We receive personal information only through inquiry forms, and we do not receive health information about older adults.
1. Controller and scope
SDC WellCare (에스디씨웰케어㈜, the "Company") handles personal information received on its corporate website (sdcwellcare.com, the "Site") in accordance with this policy and the Personal Information Protection Act of the Republic of Korea.
The Site has no sign-up, log-in or payment functions. We receive personal information only through the inquiry forms on the Site, including the contact form on this English site. We do not ask for consent to receive marketing information, and we do not send newsletters.
The following are governed by the privacy policy of each service, not by this policy.
- Data uploaded by facilities that use the WellCare AI service: that service's privacy policy and the Company's contract with the facility
- Application information received on the field validation program site (kwellcareai.com): that site's privacy policy
2. Personal information we handle
We receive only what you enter and send through a form. We ask for your consent to collection and use before you send it. The information is not stored on the Site's server. It is forwarded to the person in charge and used to reply.

When you send a form, the form type, time of receipt, the fact that you consented, and the page language are also forwarded. You may decline to consent. If you do, you cannot use the form. Please call +82-42-933-1638 instead.
3. Automatically generated information and cookies
When you visit the Site, access logs such as the time of access, IP address and browser type are recorded automatically. We use access logs to run the Site reliably and keep it secure. Access logs are kept for three months and then deleted without delay.
The Site does not use visitor analytics tools. We do not collect usage records such as the pages you visit or the buttons you click.
The Site uses a single cookie, named NEXT_LOCALE, to remember the language you chose (Korean, Japanese or English). It contains only the language setting and no information that identifies you. You can still use the Site if you refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings.
The display settings at the top of the page (larger text, high contrast) are remembered only in your browser's storage. They are not sent to our server.
4. Provision to third parties
We do not provide personal information received through the forms to third parties, except where required by law.
5. Processors and international transfers
We entrust part of the work of running the Site and forwarding inquiries to external services.

International transfer (Resend, Inc.)
Items transferred: the organization, name, phone number, email, inquiry type, facility capacity and message you enter on a form
Country, timing and method: United States, sent over an encrypted connection when you submit an inquiry.
Purpose and retention: used only to forward your inquiry to the person in charge, and deleted under that company's policy once no longer needed for delivery.
How to refuse: if you do not want your data transferred abroad, please call us at +82-42-933-1638 instead of using the form.
6. Deletion
When the retention period ends or the purpose of processing has been achieved, we delete personal information without delay.
For inquiry data forwarded to the person in charge, we also delete the records left in the tools used for forwarding. Electronic files are deleted in a way that cannot be recovered, and printouts are shredded or burned. The person in charge deletes inquiry emails past the retention period from both the mailbox and its trash.
Information that must be kept by law is stored separately from other information for the period set by that law, and then deleted.
7. Your rights and how to exercise them
You may ask to access, correct, delete or stop the processing of your personal information handled by the Company. You may withdraw your consent at any time.
You can make a request through the contact form or by calling +82-42-933-1638. We will confirm your identity and handle the request without delay as required by law.
If an agent makes a request on your behalf, a document showing the authorization is required. Information that must be kept by law cannot be deleted during that period, even if deletion is requested.
8. Security measures
We take the following measures to protect personal information received through the forms.
- Encryption in transit: all communication with the Site uses a secure connection (HTTPS).
- Minimal storage: inquiries are not stored on the Site's server or database. They are only forwarded by email to the person in charge.
- Access control: inquiry emails are read only by the people the company has designated.
- Blocking automated submissions: repeated submissions from the same address in a short time are blocked.
- No third-party tools: the Site does not include visitor analytics or advertising tools.
9. We do not receive health information
The Site does not receive or keep health information about older adults. Data of the WellCare AI service is stored separately from the Site.
Please do not enter health information, such as a person's name together with conditions or measurements, in the message field. If materials are needed, the person in charge will tell you how to share them. If health information is entered, we delete that part as soon as we find it and do not use it in our reply.

12. Effective date and change history
This policy takes effect on October 19, 2026.
If we change this policy, we will post the changes and the effective date on this page. We announce changes on this page at least 7 days before they take effect, or 30 days before for changes that significantly affect your rights.
